Corn Pickin Beauties

Beautiful Day.
Beautiful Girls.
Lots of corn picking.

They sure are proud of those pumpkins

The Beauties made a visit to the pumpkin patch last weekend with Gma Val, Aunt Ande and Haley.  There were lots of animals to visit, pony rides and of course pumpkins.  The ponies names were Ned and Princess and of course they all wanted to ride the same pony...Ned won the popularity contest.  Although Farrah decided to give Princess some love too.
The Beauties picked out some big pumpkins and are very excited to paint them.  We decided since Mommy is kinda still unable to dig out 4 gigantic pumpkins we would try something new this year.

Have I told You Lately?

Eight Years!
Happy Anniversary to my Matty!
What a ride it has been the last eight years.
You have been everything and more to me than I ever could have imagined.
I am more in love with you everyday that passes.
Your heart holds the key to every happiness in my life.  In our life together.
You are an amazing father.  The love that you give to our four beauties cannot even be put into words.  You give them so much and it all comes from your huge heart.
I cherish our marriage.  Everything that it stands for.  Love, trust, friendship, courage, passion, family, every single part of it no matter how big or small.  I even hold tight the tough times we have endured together.  The loss of pregnancies.  Weeks of hospital bed rest.  New careers.  Learning how to become parents together, and sometimes questioning the decisions we make, praying that we are raising our children the right way.  The difficulties all couples go through in the quest to be good parents, better parents.  Not to mention, throwing the triplet card in there, which has been a huge challenge we never anticipated.  I think we are doing an incredible job.  The constant financial strain of raising four children on one income.  The willingness you have to provide; never complaining about overtime shifts, doing anything and everything within your power to make sure that your family is taken care of.
For the last many weeks and those to come, since my knee surgery.  Being the constant caregiver to the beauties as well as to me, on top of working long hours.
All of the support you give to me in every facet of our lives together.
You are my emotional strength, my rock.  You are so much more to me than my husband.  You are my best friend, my love, my partner in this crazy world.  My Soul.

Have I told you lately...that I love you?  Because "I do"  Happy Anniversary Matt.

Campground Fun

It was Poppy Steve's birthday weekend and the last weekend of camping in 2010.
The Beauties had tons of fun running around taking in the sites and the fresh fall air.
Jocelyn collected a huge arm full of willows.  She was quite proud of them, and showed it by carrying them around for hours on Friday night.

Playing in the grass and sporting some "plumber butt" Jocelyn and Farrah having a ball.
As the days go by, Jocelyn proves on a daily basis, that she is the true "sassy" girl in the bunch.
This is the new "game" the triplets like to play.
I call it "holding on to each others clothing while Mommy crosses her fingers that no one gets hurt."  I think it is named well, because it is not only an outdoor game, but one they play daily in the house.  They bounce off walls and furniture.
Dangerous.

Another favorite game at our house right now..."chase me."
Chloe and Farrah found a green caterpillar.  They were very proud of it.
I learned when they brought it to me, that it really was a "pretend caterpillar" a weed they named "Mr. Cat."
Mommy's sweet little Farrah.  I think this has to be one of the most favorite photos I have taken of her.  Ir encompasses her personality beyond words.
The view of Beauties on the lake.
So pretty.
 Silly time with Farrah.
 Dance moves with Farrah.
Quiet onlooking from Silvie.
As always the sweet reserved one of the group.

Happy Birthday Papa Steve

 Happy Birthday to YOU
Happy Birthday to YOU
Happy Birthday dear Poppy,
Happy Birthday to YOU!
We hope that your birthday was as wonderful as you are!  Sorry the post is a few days late.  We had a great time out at the campsite (or as Silvie calls it, "the "hamper")  with you and Mom!

We love you very much much Poppy!

Bedazzle Me

My good friend "Hitzy Blonde" (yes she is a skater) came over for a visit a few days after my surgery.  With her, she brought the craft-r-noon arsenal.  Beads, and gems, the hot glue gun, and of course rainbow glitter spray...the works.  Her mission was "to make Toxic Sugar's crutches acceptable for daily use."
Successful mission I would have to say.  The triplets and her son Andy had a great time helping her glue and place multi-colored rhinestones all over them.  "Crutches MUST be sparkling."  I could not agree more with you, Hitzy.
The finished project shined and sparkled in just the smallest amount of light.  You should see them in the sun, amazing.  They are truly "Dazzling."
Thank you Hitzy!  The fact that I have the "coolest crutches ever" make it just a little easier to use them.  Thanks for thinking of me.  You are the Goddess of all things that sparkle.
