I will climb this wall.  I will.  I will not, however, look at my Mommy, who is trying with all of her power to get me to look at her so she can take my picture, because I am Jocelyn.  And I do not look at the camera.
Sorry Mommy, you lose.  I win.
I will slide down this slide, but first I will stop and smile at my Mommy, who is of course, holding that camera.  She really likes it when I smile sweetly at her.  So I will ham it up, because I am Farrah, and that is what I do!  How's this grin Mommy?
I will pretend to look surprised at Mommy.  I know that she is pointing that camera at me.  I look sassy and cute and of course sweet as can be.  I will not smile right now though because sometimes I need to make Mommy work for it.  I am Silvie and I know I am cute, smiling or not.
Jocelyn showing her sisters how it is done.
Atta girl, Jocey...always being a leader.
I guess I will smile at her now.
But only because I am having a blast and I cannot contain my happiness.
Mommy, Daddy and Chloe gave us our very first bicycles for our birthday.
We are very happy.  See...smiling.
Chloe and her bestie Olivia had to have their "family" picture taken together.
So sweet.  So grown up from the bathtub pictures we used to take of them together.
All the kiddos at the party today...but who is missing?
Jocelyn Pearl was missing!
She did not want to be in the picture.
Actually, she just wanted her purple whistle, which we realized after the picture was taken this was the major crisis.  Daddy held her and although she wasn't smiling looking at the camera, at least she is in the photo with her sissies and her friends!
What a great 4th Birthday party.

Burr...I thought it was Spring

We spent an afternoon last week taking in some of the fresh spring air.  It was another frigid spring day.  The beauties didn't care.  They love playing at the park.  even when the park is one huge MUD PIT.
My friend Laura and her dog Stella joined us.  The girls always love time with "Auntie" Bat R and Stella.
Chloe spent much of her time "walking" Stella around the park.  Stella is so good with the Beauties.

A day in the Park

Around nine this morning, we were finishing up with breakfast and heard a loud boomer. A transformer blew...leaving us powerless. Taking advantage of no power and a beautiful day...we decided to head out on an adventure...

I packed a picnic basket, some sippies with milk, sun hats and sunscreen and of course the camera and we headed out.

We landed at City Park...One half of the park is still badly damaged from last years flooding, but we managed to find the perfect spot...play area, sand, swings and a picnic table.

The Little Beauties and I played for several hours. We hunted for pinecones, walked around the park and chased "robbies" (robins), we even tried to catch a squirrel. They had a great time sharing a picnic lunch. Farrah and Jocelyn even shared their Cheetos "lady and the tramp" style. Chloe tried to get in a little sunbathing while we were there.

All four were a bit reluctant to leave, however, after two plus hours of fresh air...a nap was in the near future. They napped very well today.

Hooray for a day in the park.

Fun Times

The Little Beauties and Mommy headed to "Tot Time" this morning. It was 2 fun filled hours. There were lots of new faces and tons of toys to play with/on/in. We met Nurse Bev and her grand kids, David and Lizzie. The beauties loved chasing David around. It was non-stop play/run/climb. I had to bribe them with graham crackers to get them to leave when time was up. We purchased a punch pass and I have a feeling it will become our new Friday morning activity throughout the colder months. After a nap this afternoon, we decided to head to the park for some more play time. The weather was GORGEOUS, and we could not bare to look out from the inside. We trekked to the Ghetto park...haha...in the new Choo-Choo. Of course a great time as always! We ended the day of play in our backyard...playing in Daddy's hunting blind. Fall is in the air! YEAH!

Little Beauties enjoy a Fall day

After a l-o-n-g morning of still running noses and short tempers, we picked Chloe up from school and headed to the park. Fall is here...YEAH...my favorite time of the year! I wish it was like this all year long. I love the cool air and the warm sun. Wearing long sleeves and hats. The Little Beauties had a great time running free at the park. Yea...I felt daring I guess. We were at the park for almost a full hour with no one else around. They enjoyed climbing and sliding and swinging...the most favorite of all four. After about an hour and ten minutes some other park patrons arrived and the beauties started going in four different directions. Mommy was alone and can not go four different ways (three is my maximum)...so after about ten more minutes, we packed pack and headed home. Maybe the fresh air will help the germies go away. Happy Fall to all! Check in tomorrow...We will be taking the Little Beauties and enjoying the fall weather at the Pumpkin Patch!

Go Hawkeyes

We were dressed ready for the game! the Little Beauties have new Iowa Hawkeye shirts with each of their names printed on the back. The shirts were done by Rage Graphix. (free advertisement, you're welcome Matt.) Iowa vs. ummmm...I'm not sure. Sorry...I am a fan. I just don't pay that close attention. I am more of a tailgater I guess. You know the kind that never actually makes it to the game. I do know they beat the other team 42-0!!! YEAH! Here are some photos of the Little Beauties on our way to the park. By the way...Iowa plays Iowa State next Saturday. (See I do keep track of some things.)
