A Fairy Visit

Chloe had her very first visit from the one and only Tooth Fairy last night!

She lost her tooth yesterday while eating ice cream at Aunt Ande and Haley's house. She was eating away, enjoying her treat and bit down on something hard, which she discovered was...the loose tooth. Yeah my big girl! She was so proud to show off her new "window" and to hold the tooth in her hands like it was a special treasure! So exciting. The Tooth Fairy left her a dollar and a pack of sugar free Trident gum (the same gum she left Mommy as a child.) She chewed about half the pack today.

Toy Boxes and Boobies

I had to share these two photos. They are kind of random but too fun not to share!
I have been crazy busy the last few weeks. So busy I have really been neglecting the blogs!
The Beauties are so active. No I mean so active I feel like I cannot keep up! They are into anything and everything. They climb so much I think they may be part monkey. Not to mention they are in training for some type of ultimate fighter challenge. They hit, bite, and pummel each other to the floor on an hourly schedule. Here's to the toddler stage, huh?
Jocelyn and Chloe were playing with some plastic balls the other day and they ended up in Jocelyn's shirt resembling a small set of boobies! She was so proud and Chloe giggled for at least an hour. Farrah and Silvie love the new toy box. Although it seems to be more like a triplet hideaway than a box for toys. They throw all the toys out and then climb in. They are content doing this for at least a few minutes every few hours. Remember the Rose Petal Cottage? Yeah...it had to be put away...they were trashing it...literally. Using it for a trampoline instead of a playhouse. They would work together and tip it over and then jump on it. Maybe we will bring it out again in a few months...maybe...being the key word. Again...here's to the toddler stage!

She's not old enough

Chloe and I were cuddling this afternoon. We were being silly and laughing. As she smiled I caught glimpse of one of her teeth. It looked a bit different, so I asked her to open wide and let me check it out...Chloe has a loose tooth! A very loose tooth! It wiggles and jiggles and moves all around! She is so excited about it falling out and the Tooth Fairy coming to visit her for the very first time. I have to admit...I am a little sad...my baby is really a big girl! She just seems too little to have a loose tooth.

A new "trick"

I knew the day would come.
But I can say that I am so not ready for it.
Jocelyn fell out of her crib. I assume while trying to climb out.
I was cleaning up the kitchen from lunchtime.
I had laid the littlest beauties down for their nap.
They were talking and chattering, listening to and watching their carousel as they normally do at night-night time.
I hear a crash to the floor, I take off running to their room...
Jocelyn meets me at the door with tears streaming.
She seems fine. Mommy is not though. I'm freaked out. I am worried. Is this a new thing that we will be doing daily?
Is it time to move to big girl beds? Wow...I am not ready for that yet.
I wish my little beauties would stop learning naughty tricks.

Sugar Momy will take a nap with a side order of Sleep

Why is it that kids hate to go to sleep?
Why is it that Mommys would do anything for a nice long afternoon nap?
I sure cannot answer this. Wish I could. I will tell you that the only one napping around here this afternoon is Scooby...the cat. Lucky cat.

Doll Strollers for dolls?

Who says doll strollers are for pretend dolls?
Te Little Beauties say that life size dollies work just as well.
They very much enjoy pushing each other in the doll strollers, even big sissy got a ride.

Little Mess Makers

Here's the new "trick" we've pulled out of our hats Mommy!
We take all of the clothing out of our dresser, toss it onto the floor and then put ourselves in the drawer...Mommy, why do you have on a mad face?

Mommy...look we "cleaned up" our toy room. We did it all by ourselves in less than five minutes. Mommy, you have the mad face again...

Skater Girl

I took Chloe to break in her new roller skates on Saturday. She did so well for a first timer! She took it slow and held my hand until she felt her ground. Then she cruised along the wall for a while. She took a couple breaks and then skated around some more. Hung on Mommy a bit and then skated some more. She even met a couple other little girls who were also new on skates. We skated for just shy of an hour and a half and she is so excited to go again! Yeah...Mommy's little skater girl!

Ball House...take 2

A new ball house! Take two. Grandma brought over a new ball house today. The Little Beauties trashed the first one in a matter of an hour. Since they loved it so very much...we decided to try another kind. Maybe this one is a bit more heavy duty. Time will tell. It made it through day one, so that is a good thing. They loved it as much as house number one. Hair sting a static mess when they were finished. Yes, still 100 balls all over the house. (Actually 120 because this house came wit 20 balls.) But all worth it to see them laughing and smiling all because of a pool of plastic balls.

Happy New Year 2009

Molli "stuffed" Chloe's shirt and gave her boobies! C'mon Molli...she's only 5!

Chloe proud of her boobies

Silvie posing away...she loves the camera (glad one does)

Farrah in her party hat...sort of

Jocelyn double fisting slippy cups...hmm at least some one was partying
Happy New Year! Can you believe that 2009 is here? 2008 flew by so quickly...I think I forgot to blink. We rang in the new year at Gram and Papa's (well until 8pm anyway). The Little Beauties had fun eating party snacks and playing with their cousin. Chloe got to have a sleepover at with Molli. The Beauties were in bed asleep by 8:30. Although Jocelyn as up at 11:57 to spend New Year's moment with Mommy.
Hope your 2009 is blessed and happy!
Here's to a year full of new memories!
