Little Dolly...I want to eat your head

Chloe has a doll house. It came with a set of twins. Little babies with squishy plastic heads. The Little Beauties LOVE to chew on the babies' heads. I am not sure why. Chloe hates it! She is so protective of her little toys. I caught Silvie running around with the girl twin in her mouth today and had to steal some shots.

Yogurt Faces

The Little Beauties LOVE yogurt. I had to share some pictures of their yogurt faces. We only have yogurt on bath nights...every other day. Is that bad? Does that make me a lazy Mommy? They make such a mess with it, but love it so much. They are getting better with their spoons, but it still seems to end up everywhere.

Favorite Words

We have some new favorite words at our house...Thought I would share.
Jocelyn..."Mine" "Mine" "Mine" (everything she wants, even when her sisters already have claim on said item)
Farrah..."Bless eww" (bless you...anything that even remotely resembles a sneeze)
Silvie..."Peas" (please)
Chloe "Sweet Niblits" (yes this is a Hannah Montana thing)

The girls says the above ALL DAY long. It is very cute!

Holiday Beauties

O Christmas Tree O Christmas Tree

You are not taller than me!
We decked out the tree today. The Little Beauties loved pulling the ornaments off the tree, however did not like putting them on the tree. Chloe was too busy playing house with the barbie and spider man ornaments, to help, so it was Matty and I. The beauties were very interested in the lights and also with crawling under the tree. After finishing the decorating we watched as the beauties lurked around the finished product. The tree did not stand upright long. Less than thirty minutes to be exact. They pulled or maybe pushed it over...on Farrah! Yes...she is fine. We "reset" up the tree, only to have it go over again not ten minutes later. We lost a few ornaments in the fall. The tree has been relocated to the downstairs family room...I liked it better upstairs...and so did the beauties.

Put on your Big Girl Panties

It's is time to put the potty to use at our house! Call it what you will...craziness, motivation, or just plain tired of spending so much bank buying diapers...we are starting to potty train. The Little Beauties had their first taste at Big Girl Panties today. They loved it! Silvie has peepered and poopied in the potty. Farrah was the first to peeper in the potty. Jocelyn hasn't dared to do either. Baby steps I say...Baby Steps. Had to share some pictures of them in their brand new Big Girl Panties! Thanks Grammy Pam.

Sugar Mommy=Soft Hearted

Remember Scooby? Our cat? Well he has been living outside, by choice. His choice. He doesn't want to be inside. He would much rather hang it up with all the neighborhood cats. Roam all hours of the night. Prowl, sneak around, "purr-ooze" if you will. Well last night I went out to feed and give him some fresh water. If I must remind everyone...burr...it is down right frigid outside. So I made an executive decision...he is now back inside. He didn't put up a fuss. I think he agreed that it is too cold to be on the prowl. With that said, he has been outside since spring time and he needed a bath. Cat+Bath=Fun. My dear sweet hubby, who might I also say, "loves" the cat, bathed him. The Beauties thought this was a riot! They squealed and laughed in delight. Scooby didn't mind the bath much. Her "pursed" (Chloe's word for purring.) the entire time. Scooby is once again an indoor cat. He was so thankful for Matty for his bath, he resumed he normal sleeping station, on top of Matt last night. (Yes, this is one of the many reasons Matt loves him so dearly.) It is kind of strange to hear him meowing again...but I am a softy. I couldn't bare the thought of finding my frozen kitty on the deck. Welcome Home Scooby!

Snow Beauties

Snow Beauties

The Little Beauties enjoyed playing in the snow for the first time today! Yes it is snowing here in Iowa. Actually it is coming down very fast. Miss Chloe is a huge fan of snowy days. Her and Daddy are out in it every chance they have. She is part polar bear I think. I decided since we all have a major case of the "cabin fevers" around here, that we were going to turn our inside day into an outside day (well an outside hour anyway.) We bundled up in snow pants, coats, hats, scarves, mittens, boots, two pairs of socks each (yes this does equal 10 pairs) not to mention an "extra" layer of clothing under all this, and headed out. Jocelyn loved it immediately! Silvie was not far behind. It took Farrah a little bit. She did not want to walk in it! Once she did, however, it was on! They had a great time walking and sitting and trying to run. They even gave the snow a taste. I think from today on, snow days will be some of the Little Beauties favorite kind of days! Happy Winter to all!

Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving. What a wonderful beginning to the Holiday Season. We spent the day travelling between our parents' homes. Spending time with each of them today was important to us and to the Little Beauties. We shared the afternoon meal with Matt's Mom, aka Grandma Val, Stepdad, Grandmother Darlene, Alicia and Eli and Baby Will, Matt's Aunts, Uncles and a few cousins. We ate and shared some stories, caught up with what everyone has been up to, Matt, Val and I did a lot of Beauty chasing. They did not want to sit still. They wanted in to everything. They loved the fix-ins today! Jocelyn liked the pumpkin pie so much she was eating it from the whole pie with a spoon! Chloe even tried corn! And she liked it even! Yeah Chloe Girl! We started packing up about 2:30 and head home to drop off Daddy. He had worked all night and needed to get some sleep before work tonight. We spent the second half of the day at Gramma Pam and Papa Steve's house. Ant Dee, Uncle Chad and Molli were there too. We enjoyed another fabulous meal. Some laughs and some funny stories...not going into details...but we laughed. The Beauties ate potatoes (from the bowl, right Farrah?) Silvie was the "Jello Princess." Jocelyn ate more pumpkin pie for dessert. We played for a while, changed into jammies and headed for home. No naps and after bedtime makes for crabby toddlers! Not to mention they are still fighting colds. It is a bit after nine, all the Beauties are asleep and I am thinking about what this day means and the things in my life I am truly the most thankful for.

Here they are simply stated...

I am thankful for my Matty. My Stinky. My Husband. My Soul mate. The Father of my daughters. My Lover. My Best friend.

I am thankful for my Little Beauties. Chloe, Jocelyn, Farrah and Silvie. My Beautiful, smiley, healthy and happy daughters. I cannot imagine one single minute without them. I am so thankful to be their Mommy.

I am thankful for out wonderful parents. They mean so much to all of us.

I am thankful for my BFF Molly and her health.

I am thankful for my family and friends.

I am thankful each morning when I open my eyes and take in a brand new day.

I am thankful for the life I am blessed with.

Bless Eww

One of my favorite new things about the Littlest Beauties is how much they are really beginning to pay attention to other people. Each other, Big Sissy, Daddy, Mommy, Grandmas and Papa, and even strangers. One of their favorite and most frequently used sentence is "Bless Eww". These Beauties can hear a sneeze from seven miles away, seriously, they really can. They "Bless Ewe" every single time they hear a sneeze. Every single sneeze. Not only do they say it, but they wait for you to acknowledge that they said it. If you don't, they will "Bless Eww" until they get a response from you. It is the cutest thing ever! Another new expression is "MINE!" I try not to pay as much attention to this one. Although I must intervene sometimes or it could end in someone getting bit. (We don't call Jocelyn "Sharky" for nothing ya know.) They are also very good at "please" and "thank you" and each other's names. They are really turning into little people! They will remind you every other second that they are not babies anymore.

The Beauties were sporting some new hair-dos Sunday afternoon. Auntie Molly (my BFF) brought Chloe home from the overnight-er with Miss Olivia. She stayed and visited for a bit. (So nice to sit and chat honey!) Her "new hair" is coming in quite pretty! So soft. Just makes you want to cuddle up with her fuzzy soft head. I guess that's Clinton's job though. She took her wig off, because Chloe wanted to see her without it again. (It is fascinating to her.) The triplets were very interested in it too. They wanted to put it on, well everyone except Jocelyn that is. Farrah and Silvie look exactly alike in the wig. Maybe someday Silvie Mae will stop pulling her hair out. If she doesn't she may need to borrow Auntie Molly's wig, because she doesn't have much left of her own. Can you tell them apart. Chloe really looks like her Mommy with the darker hair, don't you think. Thanks for letting us "play" with your hair Auntie!

Chloe's BFF Olivia had her birthday party on Saturday. The party was held at the Gym-Nest. What a fun time had by all. I think the favorite for all the kiddos was the foam pit. Chloe and Olivia were jumping off the platform into the pit, climbing the rope wall and falling in too. Jocelyn, Farrah and Silvie went in backwards (good girls) and crawled all over the pit. What a fantastic place for a kids birthday party! Thanks for inviting all of us to celebrate your day Olivia!
