Growing like Weeds

The 3 Littlest Beauties had their 18 month Baby Well check today. (Yes, I know they are almost 19 months.) We began the visit with the Pediatric Specialty Clinic. This is the clinic they go to because they were 7 weeks premature. We had stellar reports today! The Beauties have "Graduated" the Specialty Clinic! Yeah Little or shall I say "Big" Beauties. During the appointments with the nurses, the girls basically play and perform tasks. Stacking, throwing, listening to and following directions. They are screening for any type of development issues. Jocelyn had been on schedule since the first appointment at four months. (She has been the whizkid.) Farrah and Silvie had both performed at their adjusted age (2 months behind their actual age) since four months. But today...All three were performing beyond their actual age! No age adjustment! HOORAY! They can be seen solely by their pediatrician from this point forward! Katie and Diane (the nurses that care for the girls in the clinic) were so happy to pass them with flying colors...but sad they would not be seeing them in clinic. Next on to "Dr. Stacy" in the Pediatric Clinic. She was so excited to see all three walking and talking and climbing! She was also more than pleased with their development! Said they are still a bit small size wise...but not concerned. They are following their own little growth curves. She asked about eating which is great...they eat everything...veggies and fruits are their favorites. They asked about vocabulary...at least 20-25 recognizable words...in addition to their own "triplet language"...way beyond where they are expected to be! Sleeping habits...all night on their own! Big accomplishment for Mommy! Again a stellar report!

Here are the stats:
Jocelyn Pearl weighing in at 21 lbs 15oz (14%) 31 1/2 inches tall (our big girl)
Farrah Grace weighing in at 19 lbs 10oz (under chart) 30 1/4 inches tall (tiny tot)
Silvie Mae weighting in at 21 lbs 2 oz (7%) 31 1/2 inches tall (right in the middle)

They have come so very far as you can see from the photos above. Taken on the day they were born, one week and at just under one month! Amazing what has changed in 18months!
